Berkshire 2023 Festival

The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is our charity, funded entirely by
donations from Freemasons to build better lives by encouraging opportunity, promoting independence and improving wellbeing. What is key from the above statement is that the MCF is funded by you and your families and one of the most important sources of funds for it are the Festivals run by Masonic Provinces. Normally, four provinces a year enter a five year festival cycle: in the 2023 cohort apart from our Province, Cambridgeshire, Devonshire and Warwickshire have Festivals ending in 2023. The MCF is a grant giving charity with the majority of its grants going to help Freemasons and their families, including supporting the Masonic Care homes throughout England, Wales. In addition, the MCF is. Significant contributor to non-Masonic charities, including relief appeals both in the UK and overseas. What is not well known is the fact it makes substantial grants to medical research efforts. For example, it helps support research into Alzheimer’s, Arthritis, Motor Neurone Disease and Prostate Cancer.
